Quick answers

I paid before — how do I get Lucid back on a new phone?

Open Lucid, tap the trial pill or open Settings → Restore Purchase (or “Restore Purchase” on the paywall). Because it's a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account, it restores for free on every device you own.

How does the free trial and price work?

Lucid is free for 7 days, then a single one-time purchase unlocks it forever. No subscription, no recurring charge. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple through the App Store.

Where do my photos and videos go?

Straight into your iPhone's Photos library. Lucid keeps no separate gallery. If captures aren't appearing, check that you granted Photos access in iOS Settings → Lucid Camera.

Why is a feature greyed out or missing on my iPhone?

Some capabilities depend on hardware. RAW/ProRAW, 48-megapixel capture, the 2× sensor-crop lens, focus peaking, zebra, the live histogram, and the entire video pipeline require multi-camera Pro-class hardware, and Apple Log needs iPhone 15 Pro or newer. Lucid enables what your device supports and hides the rest.

A control asks for a permission — is that safe?

Yes. Camera, Microphone (video only), Photos, Location (optional GPS tags), and Motion (the level) are all used on-device for the feature in front of you. Nothing is uploaded — see the Privacy Policy.

The camera looks frozen or interrupted.

A phone call, another camera app, or Split View can briefly take the camera. Lucid shows an overlay and recovers automatically; you can also tap Resume. If it persists, force-quit and relaunch, and make sure iOS is up to date.
